Frank Sinatra's Palm Springs House To Be A Class 1 Historic Site Designation
On March 16, 2011, the Palm Springs city council voted unanimously to approve the Class 1 historic site designation of Frank Sinatra's Twin Palms estate. The house, built in 1947 by architect E. Steward Williams, was lived in for six years by Frank Sinatra and remains a great example of modernist architecture. Among its unique features, Sinatra's house curls around a large pool in a pinwheel fashion revealing spectacular views of the San Jacinto Mountains from the master bedroom. Modifications to the house have been few throughout the years, so the residence retains much of its original appearance.
